Our Story

My family has a 100-year history of serving customers in several businesses. My passion for business began almost 35 years ago, working for one of the largest Canadian retailers. I was in the purchasing department and traveled extensively on buying trips and to visit factories. Over the years, I spent a lot of time sourcing, visiting, purchasing, and creating lifelong relationships in the electronics and technology sectors. Outside the office, I am a family man and a dedicated cyclist. I decided to find the best eBike manufacturer for the money and design and create the MONRIDE brand. My knowledge of cycling, sourcing, quality, and value made it simple to find the right factory for the MONRIDE line of eBikes. Our eBikes are produced to our standard of quality using authentic components from brands such as Bofang, Panasonic, Shimano, Promax, Tektro, Abus, and Kenda.
